Nottingham Forest duo Wood and Mats Sels were named in the PFA Team of the Year following their impressive 2024-25 campaign.

They made the cut alongside superstars like Salah, Isak, Declan Rice and Virgil van Dijk, while Chelsea’s Palmer, and Man United’s Fernandes missed out.
The two attacking midfielders have been nominated for the PFA Players' Player of the Year award, however.
Man City striker Erling Haaland was also a notable absentee as not one of Pep Guardiola’s players made it into the team.
