In a stunning game, the Cherries found a late equaliser through Eli Junior Kroupi to earn another impressive result at Old Trafford.
“It was one the fans will definitely enjoy,” Tavernier said. “From our point of view, it was a bit frustrating in both halves.
“We started the first half very slowly and played into their favour, which allowed them to stay in the game. But in the second half, we knew exactly what we needed to do with our performance.”
Tavernier also admitted: “We conceded some poor goals, which made it hard for ourselves. But to score again showed real character from the team.
“We knew we had to come out of the blocks quickly in the second half and we put ourselves in a great position. It was unfortunate to concede such a sloppy goal again.”
He added: “We’ll reflect on this performance and see where we can improve.
“There are a lot of positives for us to take, especially against a team that’s in good form.
“We’re starting to perform more like ourselves again, and we know what we’re capable of.”
