Sinisterra played 37 times for the Cherries, after he joined the club from Leeds in September 2023, initially on loan and now makes his way to Brazil in a move that will rise to £10M when the deal is made permanent.
The Colombian scored four goals for the Cherries but his time with the club was often halted via injuries which held him back. However, there is no doubt that he is very sharp in one-on-one situations and has has excellent dribbling and finishing to keep up at the highest level when fit.
Bournemouth release a short statement wishing him all the best as he makes his way to Cruzeiro, who currently sit third in the Brazilian top flight, midway through their domestic campaign.
“Sinisterra has made 36 appearances for the Cherries since joining on an initial loan from Leeds United in the summer of 2023, his standout moment coming in August 2024 after netting the winner in a dramatic 3-2 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.
“AFC Bournemouth would like to wish Luis all the best for the season ahead.”
