Sancho turned down several opportunities to leave Man United on a permanent basis during the summer before finally landing a loan to Aston Villa.
It’s understood that the loan deal with Villa doesn’t include any option or obligation to buy the 25-year-old at the end of the season.
Now, according to a report in Sport Bild, Dortmund are keeping tabs on the winger and could be set to make a move in the January transfer window.
Sancho’s Man United contract will expire at the end of the season, although the club do have the option to extend it by a further 12-months.
The winger is yet to start a single Premier League game for Aston Villa, only featuring for 88 minutes across his four appearances.
