Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has argued Stach's change of role with Leeds is reason for the omission, despite his impressive form in the Premier League.
Nagelsmann explained last week: "He no longer plays the position he previously played at Hoffenheim, which would have been super interesting for us."
However, Stach told Sky Deutschland on Friday: "There hasn't been any communication so far, which I found a bit of a shame, because if there's no communication at all, then you naturally feel like you're very, very far removed from the team, meaning you're not even in the running.
"I can still play at number six. If he plays a bit further forward at Leeds, it's like a double six, only I'm the slightly more attacking part."
