The German giants were keen to loan the Swede to Belgium, Holland or Switzerland this summer, but Kusi-Asare wanted to go to Fulham.
Fulham have an option to buy Kusi-Asare for €12m.
However, they're set to pass on the option, with Bayern now ready to take him back and send Kusi-Asare elsewhere in the coming weeks.
