Bayern Munich's stance on a potential move for Man United captain in the upcoming summer transfer window has been revealed.

Fernandes, 31, was heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford last summer but ultimately stayed and has played a key role throughout the season.

Despite that, several reports have suggested that Man United would be open to selling him for a fee of around £86 million in the summer.

According to journalist Christian Falk, Bayern Munich have no intention of reigniting their interest in Fernandes.

Although Bayern are keen on adding a new midfielder in the summer, it’s understood the fee and wages needed to sign Fernandes are too high.
