Catalan outlet El Nacional had recently reported that Barcelona were considering terminating the 27-year-old’s loan from Man United early.

The report says that the La Liga holders have already warned him he needs to improve ‘mentally and physically’ if he wants to get more minutes.
According to journalist Guillem Balague, that is ‘absolute rubbish’ and Barcelona have no intention of sending Rashford back to Old Trafford.
He adds that the club have confidence that the England international will be able to get back to his best during his time under Hansi Flick.
