Aston Vill have reportedly entered the race alongside Crystal Palace to sign Tottenham winger Brennan Johnson.

The 24-year-old has seemingly fallen down the pecking order under new manager Thomas Frank this season, starting just six Premier League games.

Several reports have already linked Crystal Palace with a move for Johnson, with Glasner pushing for reinforcements in the upcoming January transfer window.

According to TEAMtalk, Villa are also interested in the Wales international, although no formal approach has been made just yet.

Johnson scored the goal that secured Spurs their first piece of major silverware in 17-years, and has 27 and 14 assists in his 105 appearances for the club.
