Aston Villa and McGinn close to contract agreement

The Telegraph says negotiations between Villa and McGinn's camp are now at an advanced stage.

Indeed, there's a belief McGinn will soon put pen to paper on his new agreement.

The midfielder is now in his eighth campaign as a Villa player.

McGinn's current contract runs to the end of the 2026/27 season.
