La Gazzetta dello Sport says Arsenal have been watching AC Milan youngster Davide Bartesaghi this season after making an approach for the youngster over the summer.

After the Gunners' initial attempt, Milan quickly moved to secure Bartesaghi to a new deal through to 2030.
As such, Milan have no intention of releasing the 19-year-old at this stage and instead see him as an important part of their project.
Milan coach Max Allegri has leaned heavily on Bartesaghi this season, with the youngster fielded at both left-back and centre-half.
