He told Viaplay: "It really suits me very well. As an end, you have a lot of the game in front of you.
"It may not be as natural for me to lie in the small spaces and turn up and have the quick first steps that 8s, 10s and some 6's have.
"So what about having the whole game ahead of it and being able to read it, I think in the long run can be a good and appropriate position for me.
"So it's fine to have a phase where you get it tried, even if it's more natural for me to play 6's."
