Chamberlain, who won the Champions League in 2019 and Premier League with the Reds in 2020, left Besiktas last summer and has been a free agent ever since despite reported interest from a number of Premier League sides.
Oxlade-Chamberlain originally joined Arsenal in 2011 alongside current manager Mikel Arteta, and went on to make 198 appearances for the Gunners before leaving for The Reds.
Now, as seen in a video shared by Sky Sports, he has been seen helping Arsenal’s academy side in training and it remains to be seen whether he will continue his career or head into coaching, which is a viable option for the veteran.
The 32-year-old has been the subject of interest from Championship side Southampton, the side he starred for before making the switch to North London. Oxlade-Chamberlain, capped 35 times by England, made 50 appearances for Besiktas after leaving Anfield in 2023, scoring five goals under former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
As he ponders his future, the training sessions alongside former teammate Arteta which are a way of keeping fit while he looks for another side may be enough to sway him towards coaching and away from getting back on the pitch.
