Akanji mulls Man City future amid Galatasaray bid

The Swiss international faces stiff competition for playing time as Pep Guardola looks to streamline his squad before the transfer window closes.

Akanji, who joined City from Dortmund in 2022, now faces a decision ahead of the September 1 transfer deadline, according to the Daily Mail.

Already, Galatasaray have submitted a £15m bid for the player which Manchester City are willing to accept. 

Guardiola currently has nine defenders at his disposal, six of whom can play centrally.
