Signed in January from Fulham, Adama featured in the second-half of Sunday's defeat to Aston Villa.
He told the club's website on Tuesday: “I’m not pleased because we didn’t win, so I’m never pleased if we don’t win but yes, 45 minutes is a long time, to be honest. I’m keeping up my work to help the team the best I can.
“And I will be better and better and better. This is my mentality. It’s been a long time since I hit 45 minutes. I expect to be better in the next game.”
Adama added: “I definitely, definitely (know manager Nuno will not let the players lose focus). I think this is why I identify myself with him. He never surrenders.
“It’s his mentality. We’re going to keep working harder and this is what I like. I think we’re going to work even harder to achieve our objective.”
