DONE DEAL: Aston Villa send away young pair Lewis, Amundsen-Day

Villa goalkeeper Sam Lewis has joined National League club Oxford City on loan.

Lewis will initally remain with Oxford on a month-long youth loan.

Meanwhile, Villa have released  Ethan Amundsen-Day (above) has joined Norwegian side Hamarkameratene on a permanent deal.

Villa signed the defender from FC Copenhagen in June 2024, and the 20-year-old went on to make 16 Premier League 2 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign.
