Paris FC are six points above the Ligue 1 relegation zone but are without a win across all competitions since January 18th.
Following their 1-1 draw with Toulouse on Saturday (February 21), Paris FC sacked Gilli and have promptly replaced him with Kombouare.
One manager of local rivals PSG, Kombouare, 62, has been out of work since leaving Nantes at the end of last season.
“We are delighted to welcome Antoine Kombouaré, a recognized figure in the world of football whose experience will allow us to continue the development of Paris FC,” said Antoine Arnault, representative of the Arnault family, owners of Paris FC.
“We are delighted to welcome Antoine Kombouaré to the Club. His background and solid experience in Ligue 1 will be invaluable assets in achieving the results we are aiming for.”
