Former Tottenham and Bayern Munich defender Dier has already taken his first practical steps, joining the coaching staff of Monaco's Under-17 team.

The experience is helping him gain a first-hand understanding of youth development and the day-to-day dynamics of a top-level youth academy.
"I'm definitely thinking about becoming a coach," he told The Times.
"There's an incredible academy here, with an extraordinary tradition of nurturing talent. I hope to spend more time with them, attend training sessions to prepare for my diplomas, and, above all, gain firsthand experience."
