The 36-year-old will replace Bruno Genesio at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy after the Frenchman departed despite guiding the team to a third-place Ligue 1 finish and automatic qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
According to RMC Sport, the Ligue 1 side have finalised the structure of the deal for Ancelotti’s appointment.
Davide arrives with extensive experience gained while working alongside his father, Carlo Ancelotti, at several top European clubs, before taking charge of Botafogo in Brazil.
During his 33 matches with the Brazilian side, he recorded 15 wins, 10 draws, and eight defeats before later joining the Brazil national team coaching staff in March 2026.
