Palace are still on the lookout for a successor to the most successful manager in the club’s history, Oliver Glasner.
Glasner will leave the South London club at the end of the season, two years and three trophies after joining.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Palace are eyeing a move for highly rated Lens manager Sage as their new manager.
Sage, 47, signed for Lens last summer and had them challenging Luis Enrique’s all conquering PSG side for the Ligue 1 title, finishing in second.
Bournemouth’s Iraola had previously been Palace’s favourite to take over, but he now looks set to take charge at Liverpool following Arne Slot’s sacking.
