The Real Madrid and Spain legend made 31 appearances during his time at the club, scoring seven goals and receiving one red card.

It's understood that Ramos has no intention of hanging up his boots just yet, and is eyeing a move back to a top European league.

Per Diario AS, the defender made the decision to leave for family reasons, and because he still has ambitions to play in next year’s World Cup.

Current Spain boss Luis de la Fuente has not called on Ramos since taking over as manager, with his last appearance coming in 2021 under Luis Enrique.
