Since Giggs stood down from the Wales role in June 2022 amid a court case, he has spent some time as director of football at League Two Salford City, the club he part-owns alongside his former United teammates.
Alongside ex-teammates Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt, he helped guide the club to four promotions in five years.
Now, he hopes to do the same on the touchline as he eyes the new season as a chance to return to management.
Per the Telegraph, Giggs said: “If I don’t manage again, then it’s not the end of the world, but I feel like there’s some unfinished business regarding my coaching.
"I’m still young, especially as a manager. I loved every minute of it… the pressure, the intensity of international football, the preparation, the need to win.
“Whether it’s club football or for a country, I want to be back in the dugout. I feel like I’ve got so much more to give. Like I say, unfinished business really.”
Giggs hasn’t managed a football match since leading Wales to a 1-0 defeat of Bulgaria in October 2020 and may find it hard to step into a role any higher than League Two.
However, his vast experience both as a player and director of football could wow a few sides as Giggs pushes towards his return to football.
