For many inside Real Madrid, the Brazil international is now producing career best form after a difficult first-half of the season.
With less than 18 months to run on his current deal, there has been doubts raised about his future with Real as talks over a new extension drag on.
However, while away with Brazil this week, Vinicius Jr said: "I'm only thinking about Real Madrid and staying there for a long time.
"I don't pay much attention to what people say. I know my job and my dedication to the World Cup; it's where all players want to be. As for my current form, I always try to give my best, scoring goals and providing assists.
"I'm in my best moment right now. Everything I do at Real Madrid, I hope I can also do here with the national team."
Vinicius Jr was also asked about Orlando City signing Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann this week.
Currently in the USA for Brazil's friendly with France, he added: "Griezmann is a great player, he's had a great career in Spain, and with the French national team as well. I really like him, everything he's done in his career.
"I think he'll contribute a lot to the league."
