FIFPro have released the 26 nominees for the Best XI of the 2024/25 season, with Vincius Jr not making the list. Indeed, OkDiario reports the Brazilian did not make the top 30 names as over 28,000 pro players voted.
Several of his teammates at Real Madrid are among the candidates such as Thibaut Courtois, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fede Valverde, Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé. There is also the former player, Luka Modric, now of AC Milan, on the final list.
During the past season, Vinicius Jr controversially finished second behind Manchester City midfielder Rodri in the Ballon d'Or count.
