The former Sevilla defender has offered himself as a player just as he heads a group in talks to buy the club.
Ramos' playing offer has been declined, with Del Nido Carrasco insisting it was his decision, not coach Matias Almeyda's.
He explained, "The decision not to let Ramos return to Sevilla was mine. Everyone knows how hard I fought to bring him back two years ago and to keep him.
"I explained to his entourage that I found it incompatible for him to be both an owner and a Sevilla player.”
Del Nido Carrasco added: "It has nothing to do with the salary cap and it's not a sporting decision. Neither coach Matías Almeyda nor sporting director Víctor Orta Cordón are responsible."
