While Xabi has Real Madrid sitting top of the LaLiga table, the board and management are worried about the way he is handling the dressing room.
So says OkDiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on his regular spot with El Chiringuito.
Inda said, "The first thing I'm going to say is that I like Xabi Alonso, but there are a lot of nerves and Real Madrid is the leader.
"Let us be aware that Madrid is so demanding that it questions the coach who leads the team. Are there nerves in the Merengues entity? Yeah.
"In some sectors of Real Madrid it is considered that he does not completely control the locker room."
Inda continued: "I insist, he is a coach who is the leader in the Liga. But in the Champions League, the last game, was one to forget and the rest of the trajectory is nothing to tear your hair out either. There is some criticism in the board room. There are two games that have not been liked. One is that of the Metropolitano and another is that of Liverpool."
Inda concluded: "The team is considered to play more like a small team than a big one. I don't think I'm questioned on this day, November 18, but I think there are nerves. It's funny to me, nerves when the team is the leader in the Liga."
