The 25-year-old winger has reportedly refused to sign a new deal at the club and now looks set to leave Real Madrid next summer due to the breakdown of his relationship with Alonso, 44.
Vinicius Jr has seen chances limited since Alonso came in earlier in the year, notably throwing a tantrum when he was substituted in Real Madrid’s 2-1 El Clasico win over Barcelona.
According to COPE’s ‘El Partidazo’, Real Madrid’s dressing room has been split in two, with Fede Valverde, Rodrygo, Brahim Diaz, Endrick and Ferland Mendy all backing Vinicius Jr.
Alonso does have some supporting, however, Mbappe, Thibaut Courtois, Arda Guler, defender Dean Huijsen and full-back Alvaro Carreras are all in his corner.
