Speaking with GQ, Vinicius admits his parents are his first "inspiration".
He said, "They are my greatest inspiration. They worked hard to give me the opportunities I have today. Their dedication, their love, and their sacrifices are what push me to keep going every day. Everything I do is to make them proud."
Not only that. In football, there is more than one idol: "Cristiano Ronaldo inspired me with his incredible commitment and dedication; he never stops fighting to be the best. LeBron James for the same reasons, but also for what he did for his community, proving that greatness goes beyond athletic achievement.
"And of course, Brazilian legends like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Neymar, who mean so much to the Brazilian people and to football in our country. They showed the world the talent and joy we bring to the game."
Vinicius also commented on the pressure surrounding him: "Definitely spending quality time with family or friends gives me the peace I need to focus. Simply being with the people who know me best, who keep me grounded, helps me clear my mind and recharge.
"We don't even have to talk about football; it's more about laughing, relaxing, and feeling that love and support. That's what helps me step onto the pitch for a big game feeling calm, confident, and ready to give it my all."
