This time, they've signed promising 18-year-old centre-half Aimar García.
Garcia stands 1.92m tall and, despite being a third-year youth player (born in 2007), he is currently playing for Atlético C in the Tercera División (fourth tier of Spanish football), and has already been seen training under senior coach Diego Simeone.
Garcia will embark on his second stint with Real Madrid, having previously spent four seasons at La Fábrica (Real Madrid's youth academy) during his junior career.
Before that, he played for Rayo Vallecano, and after leaving Real Madrid, he joined Getafe. Following his two-year spell with Getafe, he signed with Atlético Madrid in 2023 and has spent the last three seasons with the club's youth teams.
García's contract was set to expire in June, and Real Madrid seized the opportunity, beating other top-flight academies which had also expressed interest in the young defender.
