Mastantuono has impressed under the new coach and told El Partidazo: "Álvaro Arbeloa and his entire coaching staff instill a great deal of confidence in me.
"That's the most important thing for a player, which is why I'm playing with a bit more freedom.
"I'm also grateful to this coaching staff and Xabi Alonso, who trusted me enough to bring me to Real Madrid."
Meanwhile, asked about president Florentino Perez, Mastantuono offered a one word response: "Imposing...!"
