Kroos told Sport1: "I'm happy that he's getting more minutes for the first time this year, because he deserves it for his quality as a player and he's a guy we can count on for the future.
"Arda is also a different player than me. His position is much more attacking than mine, so he's not my successor at all. But overall, I'm happy, because he's a good guy. I've played with him.
