The Englishman joined the club on loan from Old Trafford last summer and has impressed so far, racking up six goals and nine assists under manage Hansi Flick despite Barcelona’s stadium troubles.
This week, the La Liga side announced that they would return to the Camp Nou ahead of their clash with Athletic Club, with over 45,000 fans allowed to enter the ground to watch the action.
"FC Barcelona informs that the match corresponding to match day 13 of the League, against Athletic Club, scheduled for Saturday, November 22 at 16:15 hours, will finally be played at Spotify Camp Nou.
"This decision comes after obtaining the first occupancy license corresponding to Phase 1B, which allows increasing the capacity up to 45,401 spectators. This authorization includes the entire Lateral area and adds to the license already granted for Phase 1A, which covers the Tribune and South Goal.”
A dream come true for Rashford
This will be a dream come true for Rashford, who has always admired Camp Nou, a ground he is yet to perform at as a Barcelona player.
"It’s a very nice feeling. It’s a beautiful stadium and when it is full it’s going to be unbelievable. Camp Nou was always one of my favourite stadiums and one I wanted to play in.
“But to play on it for Barcelona is going to be a different feeling. I cannot wait to be on the pitch. I will enjoy it."
Rashford has settled in
Rashford has also been nothing but complimentary in his assessment of the city he now calls home as he settles into his new surroundings.
“I’m really enjoying my time in Spain,” he revealed last month. “The weather is the best part. It’s a very big change. I’m learning every day, I’m really enjoying it.
“I hope to be here for a long time. I get along really well with Roony (Bardghji), as well as Jules (Kounde) and Frenkie (de Jong). It’s a team where we all blend together. We’re united.”
