Pedri, 22, and Bellingham, 22, have both been nominated for this year’s Ballon d’Or, the most prestigious individual award in football after their impressive campaigns.
The Spanish midfielder played a key role as Barcelona won a domestic treble in manager Hansi Flick’s first season at the helm.
Despite the intense rivalry between the two Spanish giants, Pedri couldn’t help but praise his Real Madrid counterpart, along with his teammate Kylian Mbappe.
Speaking to France Football, in quotes carried by Mundo Deportivo, Pedri said of both Bellingham and Mbappe: “Real Madrid have a lot of very good players. When Kylian Mbappe has the ball and is in a one-on-one, it is very difficult to stop him.
"And Jude Bellingham is really incredible. He combines physical strength with technical ability, which makes facing him extremely difficult.”
