The youngster has found his feet on-loan at OL since his January arrival, though insists he understands why he battled for form and consistency at Real.
He told WinWin: “It’s the most successful club in the world. It’s difficult to play in Madrid for everyone, young or veteran.
"They’re always looking for new talent, and the fans want to see them as soon as possible, but it’s not always possible.”
A key figure in his development has been Carlo Ancelotti, first with Real Madrid and now with Brazil.
“I learned a lot from him in Madrid. I scored goals in every competition we played together,” he recalled. “The work is different, without the daily routine, but I’m sure we’ll achieve something great together.”
On a return to Real Madrid, Endrick is focusing on the immediate.
He added, “My future is next week. The next opponent. Preparing well for every training session and every match.”
