Now, according to Spanish outlet Marca, Bellingham asked Tuchel to be left out of the squad this time around rather than the other way around.
Bellingham, who has only just returned from injury, is understood to have felt some discomfort during Real Madrid’s 5-2 La Liga defeat to Atletico.
After realising he still wasn’t 100%, he requested to be left out so he can work on returning to full fitness.
