Bordalas said: "I hope we can enjoy his game. A player like him gives us joy, and I'm no exception. I hope he's on the pitch.

“As you know, we have the utmost respect. We're aware that the gap with Getafe is huge, but we always approach matches with respect, with the goal of doing well and getting a good result.

"We're excited about that; the players have been working well, and we approach them with respect.

"Barcelona has many strengths, many options, not only in terms of play, but also in terms of squad. Players of a very high level. We know it's going to be very difficult; we haven't prepared anything special. The most important thing is that you play the way you know how, that you try to minimize the opponent's strengths and bring out ours without any hesitation.”

On the emergence of youngster Adrian Liso, Bordalas added: “First of all, I can say that we're very happy. Whenever a young player who's been working well makes it to the national team, it's a reward for him and for the club.

"We're very excited, although it's not a good thing for us since he's playing and doing well. Things happen when they happen, and the call-up was made now. The U-20 World Cup is now, and we have to accept that.”
