Ahead of tonight's clash with Real Mallorca, Flick was asked for an update on the situation.
The German said: "He's doing well, sometimes he wants to play more. That's normal.
"We'll see what happens at the end of the season. Now is not the right time to talk about it."
Lewandowski, 37, has increasingly been used as a substitute by Flick this season.
