La Gazzetta dello Sport says the subject of Comolli's interest was Barcelona's Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, who struck on the night.
Off contract at Barca this summer, Lewandowski is on the radar of Comolli, who is attracted by his potential Bosman status.
The 37 year-old striker recently stated: "Regarding my future and possible decisions, I stand by what I said some time ago, both in interviews and to the media.
"Nothing has changed for me in terms of what I want. I'm taking my time to decide."
