Endrick joined OL in January on-loan to the end of the season, immediately drawing comparisons with Benzema, who left the French club as a youngster for Real Madrid and went onto win everything in the game.
So far, Endrick has racked up five goals and one assist in the five games he has played since arriving at OL.
"He's very good for me. He's a great player, incredible. He's been the best in the world, but Karim is light years ahead of me . He's a great player and I hope he enjoys himself at Al Hilal. I'm happy to be here, where Benzema played," Endrick said this week.
Former Lyon and Brazil defender Claudio Cacapa says the move has been good for Endrick.
He told So Foot: "We knew he was going to play, score, and create goals. He has a nose for goal, he's fast, strong, and has a powerful left-footed shot...
"I was very happy because not seeing him play at Real Madrid was frustrating, and I felt especially sad for him. He needs to play.
"When you take that away from him at that age, it's like giving a little kid candy and then taking it back. He hadn't been able to express his full potential for quite some time."
