Bojan earns major promotion at Barcelona

The former striker moves from his loan manager's post to act as assistant to sporting director Deco.

Sport says Bojan's promotion will be soon confirmed by Barca management.

 Part of the team overseeing the footballing side alongside president Joan Laporta, vice-president Rafa Yuste, and Deco, Bojan has served as a bridge between La Masia and the young players in the first team.

He was also a key player in the operation that brought Hansi Flick to the Blaugrana bench, after a decisive meeting held in London.

With the new appointment, Bojan consolidates his position as a key and increasingly legitimate figure in Barcelona's sporting project.
