Barcelona are reportedly set to continue their summer spending spree as they look to rival Bayern Munich for Man City defender Josko Gvardiol.

The La Liga champions have already agreed a deal to sign Anthony Gordon from Newcastle for a reported €70 million plus €10 million in add-ons.

Barcelona are also trying to sign Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid, who have reportedly turned down their €100 million offer.

According to El Partidazo de COPE, they won’t be stopping there and are actively exploring a deal to sign Gvardiol, 24.

Hansi Flick’s side will face some fierce competition from him former club Bayern Munich, however, who are expected to overhaul their backline this summer.
