West Ham are offering €30m for Casado, with United prepared to pay €50m to bring Fermin to England before the market shuts.
For the moment, both players want to stay, but a last-minute sale cannot be ruled out with Casado and Fermin warned they cannot expect a regular game this season under coach Hansi Flick.
