How are you approaching the match against Olympiacos?

"They have a good attack; the statistics show they're one of the best attacking teams. Just look at the game against Arsenal, where they had plenty of chances. We have to be alert to these situations; they have good players and a plan to play with, so we have to be careful with them."

What arguments do you have for the team to regain solidity at the back?

“The atmosphere was very good today. I like seeing this mood. We're a young team that needs this. When we analyze the game against Girona, I always talk about positioning, about being well positioned. If you're too far back, you lose because you have to run too far. This kills you defensively. We have to press and improve our positioning.”

What's wrong with Ferran Torres?

“We hope he can be in the Clásico, and so can Raphinha. When he came from the national team, we did an MRI and saw something was wrong. Playing tomorrow would be a risk. We'll do another MRI and see if he's improved. We have to take care of the players. The situation is complicated. When everyone returns, it will be different.”

What do you think of Arsene Wenger's proposal for offside?

"I have no idea. I respect Arsène Wenger, but we haven't spoken recently. I don't know what he wants or what this new law is intended to do. When they explain it to me, I'll be able to understand, but for now I don't want to comment on it because we hope it's a long way off, maybe a couple of years, which for me..."

Are you more nervous this year?

“I'm not more nervous, maybe my emotions aren't the same as before. I remember when I was coaching Bayern Munich, there were images of us winning 8-2 against Barça, and I never smiled after eight goals. Now I'm more emotional; this club has changed me completely.

What I can say is that I love this club, I love Barcelona, I love the people here, it's incredible, and I give my all for this club. I live for the club. I don't like these things when I see myself on TV, to be honest, and I don't like my grandson seeing me like this. Maybe I have to change my behavior.”

What is the progress like with Marc Bernal?

“As I said before, we have to take care of the players. We're not convinced he's 100 percent fit to play in these matches. Seville wasn't the right time. We have to look for matches where he can play, and he needs to improve in training. He's not at the level to be in the big matches; he needs to improve.”

Do you see Roony Bardghji as a left winger or attacking midfielder?

“Yes, we're also considering that. He could be on the bench or a starter. We're also considering who finishes the games. We have to strike a balance.”

Could Marcus Rashford play centre-forward?

"Marcus can be a number 9 or 11. When we think about him, we value the fact that he can play in more than one position. He's given us very positive things, and of course he can play as a centre forward."

Would it be unfair if you couldn't be at the Bernabéu?

"I don't know. We'll talk on Saturday or after the game. It wasn't anything against the referee, but he saw it that way, and I have to accept it."

Are you concerned about the refereeing attitude against Barcelona and in favour of Madrid one week before the Clásico?

"What do I say? I don't know what to say... (laughs). I've been here for 16 months, you've been here for much longer. I'd rather not talk about this..."

Is Raphinha's absence very important?

"I've already said it. I miss him a lot. When he's at that level, he's fantastic for us."
