Sport says while some coaching staff and directors have been impressed by Rashford since his arrival, others are yet to be won over.

Rashford's mega salary demands and also his lack of energy off the ball has raised concerns inside La Masia. There is a belief the lack of effort in pressing when Barca are out of possession will become a major problem should he stay beyond the end of this season.

So far this season, Rashford has six goals and nine assists in 18 appearances for Barca.

Rashford's deal with United runs to 2028.
