Atletico Mineiro clinch deal for Real Madrid midfielder Reinier

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Reinier is moving home to Brazil.

Atletico Mineiro have reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the 23-year-old.

Real Madrid are releasing the player for free in exchange for a 50 per cent resale clause.

Reinier, still only 23, joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in January 2020. However, the Brazilian never played a competitive game for the Spanish giants.

Reinier has instead been loaned to Borussia Dortmund, Girona, Frosinone and most recently Granada.
