Simeone clashed with Real star Vinicius Jr and their coach Xabi Alonso during the semifinal in Jeddah.
Ahead of tonight's Copa del Rey tie with Deportivo La Coruna, Simeone said: “I would like to apologize to Mr. Florentino (Perez, Real Madrid president) and Mr. Vinicius for the incident you saw.
"It wasn't right of me to put myself in that position, and I accept that it wasn't right. The team that wins deserves to advance; they deserved to advance.
"They were close to a draw; Barcelona is a very good team and they have a very strong playing style.”
On his touchline row with Xabi, Simeone added: “I apologise, not forgive. I have nothing more to add.”
