Former Barca sports chief Mateu Alemany, now running things at Atletico, is planning to return to his old club for Ferran this summer.

Transfer expert Matteo Moretti said on La Pizarra: . "Ferran is very comfortable at Barça and whenever (Hansi) Flick plays him, he always contributes, with assists or goals.
"He's one of the players Mateu Alemany likes the most.
"Barça hasn't yet made a firm decision on whether Ferran can leave; I think it depends on other players whose futures are uncertain, like (Marcus) Rashford or (Robert) Lewandowski."
Ferran's current deal with Barca runs to 2027.
