The former Real coach told AS: "Vinicius hasn't yet shown the level he reached at Madrid with the national team, but he's growing. Vinicius is top-notch."
Ancelotti also said of his experience as Selecao coach: "Here, the work is more about observation than intervention.
"I'm adapting to the Brazilian football culture and the passion of the people. It's a wonderful experience.
"The league is very competitive, with top-level teams like Palmeiras and Flamengo. I've called up seven players who play in Brazil."
