After the dismissal of Luis Carrión last Sunday, Oviedo have now appointed Almada as his replacement.

Almada takes charge, with his last position being with Real Valladolid, where he left last week.
He will bring long time assistant Darwin Quintana with him to Oviedo.
Almada's signing has already been closed and the Uruguayan will take training at Oviedo for the first time this afternoon.
