Coudet has impressed as Alaves coach this season, which has led to him being linked with a return home to River.

River need to find a new coach after Marcello Gallardo left the position this week.
However, Coudet said today there has been no contact: “I swear on my four children that no one from River has contacted me. Knowing the club and the board, I don't believe they've contacted anyone. That much is clear to me.”
He added: “I'm not unaware of all the noise that's been made. For me, it's a normal situation when your name comes up in connection with an institution like River Plate that's looking for a coach.
"It's a club like Real Madrid or Barcelona. It's a top club worldwide, and it generates a lot of buzz.”
